This week we recognize our Medical Staff Services Professionals – key members of the healthcare team who are dedicated to thoroughly investigating and verifying the credentials and practice history of the providers who are granted privileges here. They are also experts in medical staff organization/bylaws, accreditation, regulatory compliance, and provider relations.
Some facts about our Medical Staff Services Department:
- Responsible for credentialing/privileging over 1100 practitioners.
- Also provide medical staff services to Baylor Medical Center at Uptown, Baylor Surgicare at Dallas, Physician’s Day Surgery Center, Baylor Surgicare at North Garland, and Baylor Surgicare at Garland.
- The team has over 35 years of combined Medical Staff Services experience.
- Two team members hold professional certification in the field.
